Frame Sliders- Crash Knobs
The purpose of frame sliders or crash knobs (same thing just a differnet name) is to minimise damage to your motorcylce if dropped. A good set of frame sliders can dramatically reduce damage to fairings and protruding engine parts providing that they are robust and correctly fitted.
Frame sliders are sometimes called Oggy Knobs which is a name coined by one of the earlier manufacturers of crash knobs that named them Oggy knobs.
Most of our frame sliders are designed so that it is not necessary to cut or modify the fairing but on some motorbikes it is not possible to avoid cutting the fairing.
To maximise the protection we also suggest that you consider fitting our Swing Arm Protectors (which also double as spools or bobbins to take the rear stand hook supports of a paddock stand).
