Product Description

Kaneg Moto-Sports


50mm diameter HINGED Clip-on Handlebars.

The Clamp Collars are Hinged to make fixing and removal simple and without having to remove the Fork Triple Clamp.

Hinged Clamps must be the best choice of after-market handlebar replacement.

Supplied: 2x hinged collars (clamps), two (replaceable) handlebar tubes with Delrin Bar end plugs and quality fasteners.

Black anodized 3D CNC machined billet aluminium Hinged Clamps.




Loosen and remove all fixing bolts and screws to detach the Top Triple Clamp, Handlebar Clamps, Control blocks, Lever blocks and Throttle control assemblies.

For the reassembly reference, we suggest:

Marking the location of the OEM Triple clamp position onto the Fork tube.

Marking the location of the OEM Handlebar clamp position onto the Fork tube.

Photograph or take a written note as to where each OEM fitting is located on the bars for the correct location when reassembled.

When the Triple Clamp and Handlebars and all assemblies are removed:

As the Kaneg Bars are hinged, replace the Triple Clamp to the pre-marked position, then tighten all clamp bolts to the Manufactures recommended torque.

To relocate the control blocks onto the new bars; place the OEM Bars against your new Kaneg Bars to predrill any/all anti-rotation pin holes.

Locate your Kaneg Clip-on Clamps onto the fork tubes and slide the bars into the fork clamp, loosely tightened so to allow you a final personal fixing location.

With the Clip-ons fixed to a location that best suits your Riding style, place and loosely Fix the Control blocks, Lever blocks and Throttle control assembly.

Make sure all blocks and control assemblies are located onto your kaneg bars, so that the grip ends are located on the bar plug to bar end junction.


Before Riding your Motorcycle

Sit on the bike and rotate orient the bars and all controls into the most comfortable position that allows all controls to be easily used.

Through the whole steering arc, CHECK and TEST the:

Steer the bars to each lock to ensure free-movement and no part of the new Clip-ons/Bars contact any part of the motorcycle.

The Throttle when opened returns and closes freely.

All control switch Blocks, Brake and Clutch block assemblies operate correctly.

Check that all cables, hoses or other control assemblies are clear of and do not contact any part of the motorcycle.

Check the steering Arc and all controls to ensure you have the full ability to use all Controls.

Check tighten all fixings to the OEM torque to ensure there is no possibility of overtightening or movement and OEM free play.
