2021 – 23 Yamaha MT-09 – SP Front & Rear OEM Upgrade Replacement Steel Braided Brake Line Kit. Part 142170-1

As with all Rubber Hoses; the MT 09 - OEM rubber hoses suffer from volumetric expansion, with hydraulic pressure loss from the Master Cylinder to the Caliper.

This causes a decreased braking capacity and needing a greater braking (hand or foot) force to be applied to function.

As opposed to steel braided hoses; that do not suffer volumetric expansion ensuring a better Brake efficiency;

when the Brakes are applied, there is no braided line hydraulic pressure loss from the Master Cylinder to the Caliper.

The Kit includes front and rear hoses and fittings to replace the OEM setup.

Tightening Torque Steel Fittings 20Nm
