Ducati SS & SL Series

In 1988 Ducati offer its fans a new edition of the Sport and Supersport series to become the baby brother to the legendary 851.

The early model SS's eninges were based on the Pantah 904 cc air-cooled 90° V-twin, two-valve "Desmodue" engine with crankcases derived from the 851.

In 1992 Ducati introduced the 900 Superlight - the SL was defined as a Superleggera of that era, it was a new style, enriched with details that embellished its appearance and equipment; like the solo seat and lightweight rims to the carbon and Race-look Fairing, again Ducati/Cagiva came to the party.
