What is a Single Swing Arm Race or Paddock Stand used for?
Single swing arm stands are designed to lift the rear wheel well clear off the ground to allow wheel changes and other maintenance by supporting the entire rear assembly of the motorcycle from the swing arm side. This is achieved by sliding the spindle of the swing arm stand snuggly deep into the hollow rear axle before lifting the entire rear and of the bike onto the stand, offering  a secure and robust support while you work on your bike.

Whilst single swing arm stands are ideal for use on the track, they are also ideal for secure storage of motorcycles.
