Front Stands

Originally only used by professional motorcycle racing teams paddock stands are now also commonplace in garages and workshops.

At the race track these front paddock stands (also called pit stands) are used in conjunction with rear paddock stands to securely suspend the motorcycle so that both wheels are free for maintenance and even removal without concern that the motorbike will be unstable without wheels. These paddock stands also allows for tyre warmers to be fitted and removed simply and quickly.

Front paddock stands should always be used after the rear stand supports the motorcycle. Lifting and lowering the front wheel assembly is an easy single-handed operation.

At KANEG we offer three options of Front Paddock Stands:

The most popular front paddock stand supports the front fork on two rubberised prongs that securely hold the base of the front fork (or stanchions) on each side.

We can also supply our underfork pinned platforms instead of the rubberised prongs. These galvanised platforms have lugs that fit into the hollow base of the front forks or stanchions. Each platform has two different lug length options to suit most motorbikes.

The KANEG Head Lift front paddock stands are ideal for elevating the front wheel assembly so that not only the wheel can safely be removed but also most of the moving parts like shock absorbers and brakes. The headlift paddock stand fits into the cross tree (also called triple clamp or yoke) with a snuggly fitting pin.

All stands are powder coated and all fittings are galvanised to ensure long and reliable use.

We also carry all spares for KANEG paddock stands.
